It was a bit toasty, but still a lovely day for campus orienteering. Some 101 folks, including two JROTC groups and several Boy Scout troops, participated in the four courses that Marsha Jacobs created on the CSUS campus.

Drew Murphy and Joshua Roberts of BS Troop 386 were the speediest on White, at 21:49. Yellow was won by the Luther Burbank High School Navy JROTC team of Darin Nguyen, Alex Flores, William Hall, Imani Bonds, Akaash Kumar and Glenda Ramirez in 30:49. Tops on Orange was BAOC's Gary Kraght at 38:36. The all-controls Scramble victor was Jana Dvorak, a recent transplant from Seattle's Cascade Orienteering Club. She got all the controls in 43:46 for 340 points.

Marsha says one control, No. 25, was hung in the wrong place. Those who didn't find it were given credit for it.
